Motion – looking ahead to their Autumn and Winter event series, Bristol’s crown jewel club Motion relaunches their beloved event series In:Motion with huge lineups in tow.

Following a brief hiatus following the pandemic in 2020, the reboot from one of DJ Mag’s “top 20 clubs in the world” is welcomed in Bristol and beyond, returning bigger and better than ever with more shows, for a longer period and across three venues. With no other “special” event series in the South West of its kind, a huge hole was left in the heart of the local events scene and club goers craving its return.

Motion, now back in full force in partnership with Fixr, Crack Magazine, Minirig, and Parlez, this year’s relaunch of the event series will kick off with a special In:Motion launch party weekend at their new 3,000 capacity sister venue Document. On the 15th September they will host Special Request, Clipz, P-Rallel, and more, followed by a collaboration with Patrick Topping’s Trick label on the 16th September.

Flowing into the Autumn and Winter months ready for prime clubbing season, In:Motion will also welcome further names like DJ EZ, Eats Everything, Jayda G, Skin on Skin, TSHA, Mella Dee, Partiboi69, DJ Heartstring, O’Flynn, Manami, Kitty Amor, plus many others and more still TBA.

Initially curated by the Motion team back in 2009, In:Motion has become heavily rooted in the Bristol music scene in recent years with none other of its kind in the South West. The series running from September to News Years Day previously brought some of the biggest artists and brands in electronic music and top-class production to Bristol, including names like Bicep, The Chemical Brothers, Chase and Status, Four Tet, Above & Beyond, Annie Mac, Deadmau5 and Patrick Topping as well as the biggest party brands in the world such as Elrow, Defected, Drumcode, Glitterbox, Love International, Junction 2, Bugged Out, and more.

Now Motion reintroduces those high caliber of acts and brands that are associated with the series, paramount to playing a part in the future of the city’s renowned musical fabric and the future of the scene. The In:Motion relaunch will also continue Motion’s mission to showcase Bristol’s creative communities following the launch of the new Document venue, a multi-faceted space in central Bristol that offers a hub for underground art, lifestyle, music, and experimental sound.

Continuing to cement its status as a top tier club staple in the South West and across the UK, Motion return to their roots with In:Motion marking an exciting new chapter ahead.
