Patrick A. Kelly Chronicles His Life – His Journey In Ep 3 , “706: Torture & Molestation Under The Guise of Christianity Part 3 .” Read portions of the transcript below.

“When I titled this episode, I wanted it to indicate the past and encompass all the hell we as children experienced. Thus, the title 706: Torture and Molestation Under The Guise of Christianity.” The number 706 is the house number where we all grew up – our prison and misery, and the horrible imagery still lingering with us today.”

“To this day, I believe the mistreatment of my sister Donna and I started because we weren’t blood children to our stepfather, Albert. Our mother was and is one of those women who would instead care for her, listen to and support a man over her own children. So much so that she didn’t protect us from him or herself. Instead, she became mean, nasty, and vindictive
towards us. However, she cherished our little sister though Siobhan, 1s who was the baby daughter of our stepfather.”

“So the meanness and beatings began because my sister and I were behind in school and needed to learn our timetables. Our reading skills were also lacking, which put more pressure on our mother to get us up to speed. So every time we messed up or citing our timetables, she would beat us. And I of course got the most beatings because I had a learning deficiency. My dyslexia wasn’t medically proven, but I kept messing up because I was afraid. I don’t believe my mother had known it then. She knew I was lagging and would whip those timetables into me.”

“As time progressed, at 706, things got worse. Our parents began gauging how much food we ate, and instead of feeding us when we were hungry, they would send us outside to play, to fend for ourselves and fending for ourselves. We did. We became so desperate and hungry that we ate crab apples from a tree at a playground.”

“Our stepsisters, Lisa and Vicky came to live with us a few years later. It was a pleasure to see them and have other siblings around to shield us from our parents wrath. I remember the first week they arrived and how we filled them in on our treatment. When our parents began to deprive them of food, we began stealing at the local grocery store and the refrigerator at the house until they put a padlock on it. When our parents would leave us home alone, my sister Donna would sneak and cook while one of us was on the lookout. But we were always caught and all got beatings for defying them.”

“Sometimes I would just lay in bed or on my bedroom floor and imagine being somewhere else, a foreign country, or living with a white family because of TV. On TV, white people didn’t mistreat their kids or beat them, or at least that’s what we saw when we were kids. But I often layed there crying and longing for my grandmother in Jamaica, wondering why she allowed us to come here to get mistreated.”

“One evening we were all at the dining room table. I think my stepsister Vicky and I were
about 14, and my sister Donna was 15, and Lisa was a few years older. But our parents tried to stuff us again and we rebelled against them. We overpowered both of them and put a beating on our stepfather. We almost sent him to the hospital. That was the day when some of the mistreatment stopped.”

“A few months after the rebellion, my sister Donna got put out at 16 years old and lived homeless from family member to family member. My sister Lisa also got put out after a last big fight with my mother, and she turned to drugs and never recuperated. It was such a shame what they did to Lisa though, because she was a straight-A student, pretty and full of life despite all the hell our parents put us through.”

“Lisa eventually died from complications due to her years of drug addiction. I still blame our parents for what happened to Lisa. My sister Vicky joined the army after graduating high school and we didn’t see her for years. I got put out when I was 18. I was the only one left in the house after I came back from college one semester, and I was just tired of putting up with all the mess, the chaos and confusion. Five years later, I left for Atlanta and the family didn’t see or heard from me for over ten years.” -Patrick A. Kelly
