In celebration of Fashion’s Night Out, we were invited to attend Millionaire Models, Inc.’s first annual Strut Your Vote Fashion Show on September 6th. The evening was absolutely beautiful. Many individuals gathered on the rooftop of metro Atlanta Chamber of Commerce, witnessing one of the most breath taking views of downtown Atlanta’s skyline. The Strut Your Vote Fashion Show was hosted by supermodel, Real Housewives of Atlanta Co-star, and founder of the Bailey Agency school of fashion – Cynthia Bailey.

Fashion icon – Bailey introduced fashions showcased by designers whom traveled from various cities within the United States. We enjoyed unique collections designed by five emerging talents: Ricky Trendy of Da Vista Shades, Donell Butler II for Kickboard Kouture, C. Denim, Alex Holliman for Farrier Bell Fashions, and KL Allen for Perfect Population.  As a continued effort to encourage voter registration for the upcoming 2012 Presidential Election, Ms. Jackie Webb spoke to the audience about the importance of registering and the steps necessary to become a registered voter in Georgia. Volunteers along with Ms. Webb offered assistance throughout the evening to guests seeking to register – a voter registration table was available on-site at the Strut Your Vote Fashion Show.

September is a month commonly known for fashion debuts of the latest trends expected during the next season. However, more importantly It is also Sickle Cell Awareness Month and Millionaire Models Inc. wanted to acknowledge and inform guests about the global disease which effects more than 70,000 people in the United States alone. A portion of the ticket sale proceeds will be donated to support the Sickle Cell Foundation of Georgia. Representatives such as Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Mansfield were in attendance to provide important facts about the disease and further along the efforts towards Sickle Cell awareness.

The evening encompassed a fashion show, an abundance of information about voter registration and Sickle Cell awareness in addition to select vendors on-site with popular fashion items such as custom jewelry, decadent treats provided by World Class Cupcakes, and many more. DJ Kurupt kept us jamming to the hottest music non-stop, creating an unforgettable atmosphere for the 1st Annual Strut Your Vote Fashion Show.

Guests were given swag bags that included fabulous items from sponsors such as African Pride, Vita Coco, III Sisters of Nature and many more!
