Brooklyn electrified bluegrass/folk rock group The Boston Boys, who formed as a quartet while attending the Berkley School of Music in 2009, releases their new EP "Keep You Satisfied."
The Boston Boys harness bone-shaking grooves, sing soulful melodies, and melt the genres of soul, rock, jazz, Americana, blues, and pop into a fine example of captivating, modern American music. A unique instrumentation, musicianship, and a fearless attitude toward performance keep audiences engaged across generations and cultures. This music is called “Future Roots” because it is fresh and original, while expressly building upon great musical tradition.
The Boston Boys formed as a quartet while attending the Berkley School of Music in Boston, Massachusetts in 2009. After three years of consistent and regular performance in the Boston area, The Boston Boys were honored to perform as one of the seven bands nationally selected for the campaign to re-elect President Obama. Following the recording of their first EP, What You Say?! in 2012, the band embarked on five week tour the Middle East and North Africa sponsored by the American Music Abroad program and the U.S. State Department. Acclaimed as a highly eclectic, dynamic, and technically proficient band, The Boston Boys will release their second EP, Keep You Satisfied in October, 2013.
